So many words could represent the owner of this website, but a personal favorite is... "Lightkeeper."

In a business sense, I am the one who updates the website & schedules client projects.

I love vibrant colors, exciting images, & thought provoking stories. It's an honor being able to help entrepreneurs behind the storefront of a business as they put their passion into words & images!

It's my mission to encourage customers & friends to remember to stop & breathe & be at ease... because when we slow down & recall that we are humans & not machines, we reignite our passion for life & our creativity.

In a relational sense, I am a woman making my way in a world that has broken me in more ways than one - I have lost a child to suicide. I have hurt people whom I love. I have forgotten important things & have hit rock bottom.

But I have also looked up from hell & have asked for help. I have surrounded myself with people who know what it means to survive. I have learned that no matter how painful life is & how heartbreaking its ashes, that beauty still exists!

I love to remind people that they are ALIVE. We are not meant to be dragging through life miserably; we are not meant to be showing up without feeling. The only prisons that truly limit our potential & our faith & our confidence are the self-made prisons in our own minds.

I live with the belief that hope exists at the core of our being, & that no matter how much the world has shattered around us, when we seek to find light amidst shards of darkness, it can change the world.

In a faithful sense, I am one who looks to my Heavenly Father for every bit of light that He allows me to see.

(It's okay if your faith journey isn't the same as mine - I'm not pushing an agenda, but rather, just sharing how I have survived!)

In the middle of a storm, I only have to close my eyes & open my heart & my Creator is there - tender & calm, hand outstretched toward me.

He knows my name.

He sees me & He cares.

He takes hold of me & draws me out of deep waters & brings me out into a spacious place where I can breathe & listen & rest... because He delights in me.

It took me a long time to understand the kind of peace that comes from being shattered like glass, never again able to be pieced together into what I once was.

I am so thankful for that impossibility, because the renewal that has come from the gentle mending of my heart has made me a new work of art.

My Savior swept away the ugly parts that I no longer needed or deserved, & He pieced together my mess of shards into something more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.

All I have to do is show up daily & look for the light amidst the glass.

When I find that light, I cling as tightly to it as I can.

Hence, The Lightkeeper. ;-)

The concept of Ink & Grace is a good mix of reality & redemption.

Ink tries its best & leaves its mark on the world, sometimes temporarily & sometimes permanently. It states facts, draws fiction, creates images, relays ideas. It is brash & real & full of color, whether we are ready for it or not.

Grace is the gift that follows along behind the ink to smudge the things not needed & to round out the jagged edges. It brightens, it heals, it creates beauty from a mix of magnificence & mess.

The notion of Ink & Grace in marketing & design is one of intentional realities & hopeful dreams.

Sometimes we hit the mark the first time, & sometimes we have to take a break & come back to look at solutions from another angle.

Not everyone sees the beauty of life through the same lens.
